Finding a condo through Bangkok's Facebook groups
In Bangkok, owners and agents post many rentals and sales in public Facebook groups, before or instead of the property portals. A good unit can go within days, and the same flat is often posted by several agents at different prices.
Figures counted on 20 October 2026 on the 3,512 condos for rent on BKK Radar, among the listings that state each term. General information, not legal advice: the terms of your own lease are what count.
The groups on one map
BKK Radar reads the public posts of the 50 Bangkok groups it follows, throughout the day. Each post becomes a listing with its price, size, residence and nearest station; copies of the same unit are merged; 3,512 condos for rent are on the map right now.
Contact details are removed: each listing links to its original post, where you reach the poster.
Compare the price before you write
Each listing shows how its price compares with similar units in its district or near its station. Districts, stations and residences each have a price page, and the monthly rent index gives the median rent across Bangkok.
Spotting fake and bait listings
Three signs: photos already used by another poster, a price far below the area's, and a request to transfer money before a viewing. BKK Radar points out all three on the listing's page. Never pay before you have seen the unit and checked that you deal with the owner or someone acting for the owner.
Getting an answer
Comment on the original post or message the poster with the residence, the floor and your move-in date, and ask whether the price includes the common fees and whether pets are allowed. Save a search on BKK Radar to receive the new listings that match it.
People also post what they are looking for in the groups. BKK Radar's requests page lists these posts: it shows the budgets of the moment, and gives you a model for your own post.
