How BKK Radar works, and how to reach us.
Frequent questions
Where do the listings come from?
From public Facebook groups for rentals and sales in Bangkok. We read public posts only, turn them into listings (price, size, location, nearest station), remove contact details and merge duplicates. Private groups are never read.
Is BKK Radar a real estate agency?
No. We show listings that owners and agents published elsewhere. To visit or rent, contact the poster through the original post linked on each listing.
Why are there no phone numbers?
To protect posters' privacy, contact details are removed from every listing. The original post gives the poster's contact.
How fresh are the listings?
New posts are collected every hour. A listing goes offline a few weeks after its last post.
How are the prices per district and per line computed?
From the active listings: medians and averages, refreshed every night. The rent per area is scaled to a 35 m² one-bedroom so that areas with different unit sizes compare. Published prices are asking prices, not signed ones.
How do alerts work?
Save a search with alerts on. Every 10 minutes, new listings that match it are added to your Alerts page and, if you choose so in Settings, emailed to you.
Can I see prices in my currency?
Yes, with the currency menu at the top. Conversions use the ECB reference rate and are indicative; listings are always published in baht.
I posted a listing and want it removed.
Open the listing and choose “Report or request removal”. We confirm with you by email, take it offline and delete its photos.
How do I delete my account?
In Settings, choose “Delete my account”. Your favourites, searches and alerts are deleted for good.
